I'd like to welcome Natalie L. Sin to the Skunk Cat reviewing family. Natalie reads a variety of horror and dark fantasy books, as well as being an excellent writer in those genres as well. I'm looking forward to reading her reviews.
Kate Shaw likes secondary world, non-epic fantasy, urban fantasy, young adult fantasy, cozy mysteries, horse stories for kids, and quirky humor. She has a short attention span. For a better idea of what she likes to read, visit her Goodreads page.
Kate also writes. You can visit her website and her blog. Contact her at kcshaw123 [at] gmail [dot] com.

About Jackie Jernigan
Very good at Bubble Shooter and Text Twist. Intense. Can sing on pitch without vibrato.
Books I like: Killer B's science fiction (Baxter, Bear, Benford, Brin); Literary fiction; biography; nonfiction (morbid stuff, like Iris Murdoch's last days with Alzheimer's); no health books--I get scared; no losing-weight books--I like candy; Newbery books, Caldecott books, fairy tales; horror stories, particularly Victorian horror stories like Algernon Blackwood.
Lertulo usually won't buy a book until it has a sequel or two available as well. What's the point of getting to like a character unless there's at least 1200 more pages to read? Take that collection of short stories and put it on someone else's bookshelf.
Even though he scans Barnes and Noble's shelves with an eye for sheer weight, Lertulo at least will be found consistently in the Science Fiction and Fantasy section. Lertulo is a computer programmer, martial artist and Esperanto tutor--notice that "English major" is not listed. He therefore votes for books with catchy or intriguing stories rather than Literary Works.
Lertulo (the big one, not the little one)
About Natalie L. Sin
Natalie L. Sin is a horror writer living in the midwest. Her TBR pile is far too large, and this will (allegedly) light a fire under her ass.
Needless to say, Sin digs reading horror. Mercifully, her taste in books far exceeds her taste in movies. Case in point, Sin is a fan of "Howard the Duck." Alternatively, her favorite novels include "It" and "The Girl Next Door." She feels that the majority of movies adapted from Stephen King novels should be set on fire and the ashes buried in salted earth. And yet, "Howard the Duck." Go figure.
